It's starting to sink in... The moment we have waited for, waited 18months for as of tomorrow, may be at hand.
A family with whom I have been corresponding, and who is just in front of us in the "line" to be matched by CB, sent me an email with information and PICTURES of their new little girl. She is gorgeous!
I have been talking with the mom and knew referrals were imminent. I also can guess from our status on the list that chances are very good we will be included. Seeing that picture tonight... suddenly I'm excited and anxious and terrified and hopeful...
If there is a match for us, the NS gov't should receive it tomorrow. I don't know how long they will take to review it and our file to make sure the match is acceptable. Part of me hopes we get a call tomorrow, the rest of me knows it'll be next week or the week after. Suddenly waiting 18 months seems like a piece of cake compared to waiting for the next few days.
