Steve lifted this one off a news site I sent him. The epicentre is shown with the circles. The red flag that is marking "Gansu Province" seems to be marking Lanzhou, which is the capital of the province and where Anna is.
This one is a political map of Gansu Province from their website, showing the areas and cities. The news I quoted earlier said the fatalities in Gansu were in the North Western region, which didn't make much sense, but who am I to question news? If I'm piecing the news together right, the fatalities were mostly in Longnan, which is the blue area far south (and a little east), which is quite a bit closer to Lanzhou, which by coincidence is the same colour, a bit west and north of Longnan. You'll see the province directly south is Sichuan, where the epicentre was.
I've put an email into our agency to see if they've heard any news from any of the orphanages they are working with. I still feel she's fine - far enough away - and keeping my panic at bay with that thought until I have reason to feel otherwise.
