I had a phone meeting with our agency contact today to develop the "Nurturance Plan". Basically we outlined what resources were available for Annie here in Halifax and then ask the CCAA to allow us to adopt her. I've already put Annie on the wait list for the Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Centres and will call the Developmental Clinic and the Progress Centre on Monday to do the same. I've worked with all these organizations professionally, it'll be a new view as a client instead of an intervention team member. Now that the plan is drafted, it will be sent to me for review. Once approved, it will be translated by the agency and sent to China - hopefully before the end of next week. Then we wait. Weeks, months... impossible to know.
