T Minus 2 hours

We're here in Lanzhou! Another uneventful flight, if you don't count the food. They tried to disguise an egg. Hard boiled in something that made it brown/green in colour. Once we landed, we had an hour drive through the countryside. Very interesting sites - mountains, factories, caves, villages, three wheeled trucks. The traffic is crazy and no one stops for other cars or pedestrians, just honks to say 'look out, we're coming!'

We've gotten into our tiny hotel room, and I promptly blew up our power bar in my hand. My hand is marked black where the smoke came out, but wasn't hurt. Took out all the power in oru room too. Luckily the guides passed by and called an 'engineer' to fix the problem. I assume I blew a fuse.

At 3 local time we're to go down to a meeting room to meet "the babies". I have AnnaWen's backpack packed with bribes, our paperwork organized, all of the things my clients donated to the orphanage sorted and in a bag, the foster family's gift wrapped. I'm ready and anxious!

Next time I post, I'll be a mom of FOUR!
