I forgot to write about The Hug I got. How could I forget to tell about that? We were sitting in the lobby, waiting for everyone to meet to go to our Civil Affairs appt. Steve has taught her how to kiss, which she will do willingly with him, but inconsistently with me (sigh. He's got her brainwashed already). We were playing that game - Steve got kisses from both of us - and when I asked for a kiss she said no, but then she ducked her head and snuggled in against my neck, tucked her arms under mine and squeezed for just a moment, then relaxed against me. The kiss didn't matter so much any more. Steve has gotten several snuggles wherein she rests her head on his shoulder. She will lean against us when we hold her to us, but those were unsolicited!
Alright... I hope this posts as I have no backup!

Yay! It worked. Here are some pictures.
AnnaWen putting on her new shoes in her bathing suit, getting ready to go to the pool, and the one picture Julie managed to sneak in during our 10 minute swim.
Some buildings from the park.
She loved riding on Daddy's foot, but wasn't holding on as tight as she should on a marble floor.
Colouring with markers... well, really taking lids off and putting them back on.

How wonderful that Annie gets to do so many possible "firsts". I bet riding on daddy's leg is definitely a "first"!
Leave it to Steve to have her charmed already!
She looks so happy, Natalie! I know she'll have her moments, but she does look like she belongs to you!
