Look out...

The other night we were discussing our trip to China over supper. Steve took the opportunity to remind the kids that his parents and Rick and Shu were taking turns staying at the house and taking care of them. Steve warned them that Grammie and Grampie and Uncle Rick and Auntie Shu might need help with the rules of the house, like the fact that everyone needed to be seated at the table before anyone could eat, or that seconds on milk were not given until a healthy amount of food was eaten.

An sly grin spread slowly over Jack's face, and then onto his brother's and sister's faces as well. We knew we were in trouble... well, more like Grammie, Grampie, Uncle Rick and Auntie Shu were in trouble. Steve hesitantly asked "What, Jack?" and Jack cackled "You mean the candy for supper rule?" and burst into hysterics. Elliot jumped in, laughing hysterically and the two of them started listing the rules they hoped to share with their care givers. Paxten J. laughed hysterically, mostly b/c the boys were. Their laughter bordered on diabolical.

What have we created?

May the force be with you G, G, UR and AS.

I wish my school board had permitted my request of 2 wks unpaid leave. I know all the rules regarding candy eating at the table. :)
