It's a Snow Day here in Hatchet Lake. The schools/buses were cancelled b/c of snow and freezing rain over night - Steve said his drive to work was aweful. Since I work primarily with kids, and since we have a very long driveway, I have a clinic policy that if the schools are closed or buses cancelled, the clinic is closed and appointments cancelled with no charge to the client. Sounds good, but that means today I'm out over $500 in lost income and paid daycare that I'm not using.
That said, we're having a great day. The boys and I are in pjs, the girls insist on getting dressed. We've put together puzzles, and coloured and cut paper. Currently the Munsters are running around the house (literally). I have a headache, the listening kinda sucks and the newly cleaned house is getting trashed piece by piece, but it's been a relaxing day just the same. I should do some laundry or damage control by the dressup box but I think I'm going to stay here surfing the net and bouncing the ball of the Moose's head when he's silly enough to give it to me.
