Quiet again...

Well after the furry of activity that was October...

to recap, we talked to our agency contact the first few days of Oct (like 2nd or 4th or something) about switching to Special Needs and was accepted by the gov't and signed our new contract with our agency Oct 31st. Must have been the fastest turn around - well, the fastest one that included gov't lobbying and change of policy.

Now that November has arrived, we're back to waiting quietly. Our social worker called earlier in the week. It took a couple turns of telephone-tag to finally connect... in that time I almost convinced myself that an imminent referral was a remote possibility by her call - either that or a bounced check. How amazing the mind can warp reality so easily. (let's be clear here, a referral is not possible until December and that's a very remote possibility, we need to focus on April). SO here we wait, but with an end in sight.

In fact, our wait time should more closely mirror a typical pregnancy. We've had our positive pgcy test. We have four or five months to wait for that first u/s picture, then another five months or so for delivery. So we've been here before...

Until then, I'll abuse the "add image" feature some more:
