We received notice that the CCAA has asked us to provide them with more information. I developed Post partum depression with all three of my kids, and received treatment for the last two. The Chinese feel any depression is a mental illness that may make someone incapable of caring for a child. In our homestudy and application, it reported that I was being succesfully treated for PPD through medication. After our application went in, we heard rumbles that the CCAA would change their rules to disallow anyone who is within two years of being treated for anxiety or depression by medication. I went off my medication December of last year, to be able to tell them I did so if they asked. And now they've asked.
I have to get letters from the two doctors who treated me outlining my current condition - stating that my meds have been discontinued and that I'm stable without them. It should be a formality... I'm scared none the less. I could use good thoughts and prayers.

That's one of the scariest scenarios. I'm thinking good thoughts for you.
