I checked my messages at work and there was a message from the office of Adoptions in Nova Scotia. She called Thursday and again on Friday. I'm not sure how I missed the Thursday call, but I wasn't in the office on Friday. Th's message said "call me back". Friday's message said that our agency "approached them needing further information". I'm not sure what information that is.
When we are matched to our daughter, the agency will send that information to the provincial office for their review and acceptance, and they will contact us. I really did not expect to hear from the gov't again until our match/referral is in next year.
I'm sure they want some small piece of information... there are enough people in front of us that we are not going to get a referral this month... but the wheels in my head are spinning. And I'll have to wait till Tuesday when she's back in the office to find out what she's calling about.
