This post will be short - I'm standing at the counter. Not sitting, b/c if I sit, I'll get too comfy and decide NOT to go run on the treadmill as I should do.
Today is referral day!!! Families logged in with the CCAA from Sept 29 to Oct 13, 2005 received pictures and information about their children today. These days have started to bring mixed emotions for me. I'm excited for the anonymous families who proudly display pictures on thier blogs. But I also seem to feel more sad and anxious on days when referrals come out, and just a little bit jealous, which is not nice to feel. It seems like the number of LID covered (Sept 29 - Oct 13 is 15 days) is never enough... and just hammers home how long our wait will be... I guess I keep hoping for a HUGE batch of referrals, two months of LID covered would be EXCELLENT - let's speed up the process and bring Anna home! But it doesn't happen, and I'm left looking at other people's babes and feeling our own day is so far away.
Ah well... it'll come right. Patience is a virtue, as they say. I'll keep repeating it until I believe it, or until Anna's home - which ever comes first.
Chandler and the gang are calling. Off to run off my lunchtime dessert.
