A Stroke of Luck - for a change!

Anyone who knows Steve and I know we suffer from Sampson Luck - basically the world is usually against us. Don't get me wrong, for the big things, family, home, health, we're very fortunate, but to me that's not Luck, that's Grace. I'm talking about little things - we're more likely to lose $20 than to find it on the curb, we never win the doorprize let alone a lottery! And don't get in line with us at a store or theatre - garanteed to be the slowest by far. The end result of our adoption process is nothing but a Blessing and I know without a doubt it happened exactly as it was meant to, but our process was riddled with what seemed at the time to be bad luck, bad timing, bad choices...

So imagine my surprize... a few weeks ago I wrote our agency contact and asked if she could reimburse the money we paid for workshops and classes that don't seem to come often to Halifax. She explained that most of our resource had been spent, but that she could give us back $150 each for a course that we weren't going to take now that we've travelled. Today I received that cheque and a statement of our "In Trust" account that showed we had paid an excess of $2071.00 AND a cheque to go along with it. OMG!

I'm headed to the bank before swimming to put it in... it'll be dumped directly into our Hole of Debt, but it is a HUGE help!
