Some days the wait seems endless, but on other days our pending travel looms close enough to make me feel smothered with anxious thoughts and plans from packing to child care to work issues.
Tonight I met with my book club friends for our last meeting before summer. We made a list of books to read in coming months and scheduled our next meeting - for September. I realized that if things play out the way we've been told is likely, I probably won't make that meeting. Tuesday is July 1. Then it's August. Then it's September. It goes that fast.

Sorry that I have only added to the anxiety around day care for my wonderful adorable, delightful grandchildren. I will never forgive the board for what they have done.
