I thought my other kids were late; they were born at 41 weeks, 1 day, 40 weeks, 6 days and 40 weeks, 5 days respectively.
Anna's "paper gestation" was originally expected to be 16 to 18 months, but is looking to be closer to 30-36 months.
Not to bad if you compare it to the Alpine Salamander:
"The longest gestation period of any animal is that of the Alpine salamander, which takes up to 38 months to give birth at altitudes over 1400 m (4600 ft) in the Swiss Apls, though this drops to about 25 months at lower altitudes."
Perhaps I need to move to an area of lower altitude. We do live near the Atlantic Ocean - not sure how much lower we can get... Maybe New Orleans would be a good choice?
