I won't go into the shit that I dealt with yesterday - waiting for a delivery that was expected between 8am and 1pm, that arrived at 930PM, broken at that... We won't go into that.
Since we were home allll day yesterday, I had a good case of cabin fever and a list of things to accomplish today. We went to the bank, to Winners to find some accent pillows, to lunch at Dana's, Home Sense (more pillows), Walmart for back to school stuff. I had an hour and a half to kill before my blood donation appt, and I didn't want to go all the way home so I took them to the Glow in the Dark Mini Putt.
UGH. I hate mini golf at the best of times. I thought it would be a fun treat. It was way more expensive than I expected, but it was too late to turn around once I found that out. We spent a little over an hour playing eighteen holes of mini hockey putt, wherein the main competition revolved who got to go first. OMG, I was SOOO frustrated by the fourth hole, I had already barked at them a few times - some kind of family fun! I felt guilty, but my barking eventually resulted in their silence and compliance (won't go so far as to say cooperation) regarding the turn taking and I think they had fun in the end.
So, tomorrow some grocery shopping and prep for a Pampered Chef party.
