Well, it's not that serious, but one of life's most stressful and chaotic events is happening tonight at 5:30 - family photo shoot. A professional photographer is meeting me and ALL of my children's direct living relatives downtown. There will be no less than 15 people: Steve, Natalie, Jack, Elliot, Paxten J., AnnaWen, Ron, Diane, John, Sue, Mary, Michael, Jen, Gail and Darren... EEK. The youngest was born in 2006 in Lanzhou China, the oldest in 1911 in Paradise Nova Scotia - how's that for red threads? Let's hope ONE picture turns out!

I always read you blog when ever I check on Krista I keep wanting to touch base with you and when I read this last post well you hit on a nerve!!!!
I wanted to wish you luck on the family photo thing ....I don't know how your kids will act but MINE were ALWAYS a pain in the A--
even NOW as adults OMG I want to strangle them!!!!!
Especially the boys they will make a face/hold their breath/fart/poke who ever is next to them/turn their back to the camera/stick their finger in their or each others noses!!!!!and that is just a few of the things. This was LAST YEAR!!! they are 21{John-Thomas}and 25{Ethan} years old!!!!!
SERIOUSLY I would easily kill them and eat them if I could
they do it just to drive me NUTS
and they DO!!!!!
Thank God for my daughter and husband we decided to try and ignore them and just use a photo that we look good in,,,,,poop on them,,,
But even with all the goofing around we have a good time and usually end up with ONE half decent photo.
it is funny to look back at all of them....the boys making faces Maghan looking perfect/Tom trying to keep his eyes open/and me smiling but my eyes are saying
I'm going to KILL you!!!!
OH the joys of parenthood!!!
Tom and I are in Arizona and the kids live in Calgary on their own.
we will head up there for a visit in Oct and yes I will attempt another family photo. as much as it drives me NUTS I love every second of it.
