There are many many reasons why time goes to quickly... This week, I added "old, sick cats" to the list. Our first two "children" were diagnosed with hyperthyroidism this week. We don't have the multiple thousands of dollars it would cost to cure them, or the less but still multiple thousands of dollars to treat them. So, they will slowly weaken and die over the next couple years. Right now they're not suffering, they're here for snuggles and loving on so I'm trying to focus on that, but I'm having trouble finding a way to stop crying.
Other reasons time goes TOO fast:
Grandparents aging
Children growing too fast - so fast, I forget what they were like when they were smaller
Family and friends moving on and away
Opportunities for increased contribution to community, increased health, increased financial independence slipping away...
... sometimes I feel literally dizzy by the speed.
And only ONE reason time is crawling too slowly.
