At the close of Sunday School this week the children were presented with 64 page, $2, inch by inch "Bibles" that had some common stories told through selected verses. Jack was thrilled with his, carrying it around in his pocket for two days, and insisting on bringing it to school on Monday. Sunday he read it in the car while we ran our errands, and apparently read it after going to bed while I was at the movies. Monday he proudly announced he had "read the whole book". He pocketed it and took it to school, I had no argument against it, really, even though I was a little afraid he'd get beat up or something like that. I don't know if he showed it to his teacher, but apparently he warned her "I won't be able to find a 'just right' (appropriate reading level) book for me today, I read the Bible in ONE day". Hopefully his new found interest in The Word will ward off the possessions of demonic powers that happen every so often when he doesn't get what he wants - THAT would be a miracle!

And speaking of Miracles, check out RedSand's Double Dose! I'm skewing her viewing stats by stopping in to gaze at their faces several times a day... when does it become cyber stalking? Congrats M&S!
