Not many exciting firsts, but firsts...
I missed work. Not a first, but maybe a third time in the five years... first time for pink eye, though, and first time that my eye has ever been swollen shut. And red. And goopy. Gross eh? And my back is still not great... it'll be great for four even five days then seize up again for a couple of days... I'm in the latter part of that cycle right now. With the pink eye, the shitty back, and an overall hit-by-bus feeling, I stayed in bed. All except for a quick trip to the doc this morning. I slept for nearly five hours - another first as I don't nap often and when I do, I've never napped THAT long. Wait, is it still a nap if it's five hours long?
But the more exciting first - Jack lost his first tooth!!! (and I didn't even throw up!). He's so proud and excited. We'll have to see what the Tooth Fairy leaves for him, b/c Steve thinks the Fairy has experienced some inflation with cost of living for six year olds. I'll get pictures of Jack without his tooth.
Now, I'm going back to bed.

Called Jack to see if the tooth fairy came but got no reply. Hope the TF left some money under his pillow and a note to go with it.
