I thought today would be fun to stick close to home with the kids, bake some cookies, wrap Steve's presents and just hang out. Well, one has had on-off again tantrums and mood swings, they bailed on the baking right at the messiest (most boring) part, they wrapped half the presents before segueying onto another less productive craft. THEN I think I ruined half hte pb balls by coating them in chocolate that tastes horrible for some reason - no idea why. Sigh. Sometimes even the best of intentions doesn't result in the day I expected. We're off to hockey soon so at least they won't get cabin fever.
