This is going around FB for "first borns" but I answered for all four expectancies i, ii, iii, iv.

1) was your pregnacy planned?

i - Yes, and took longer than we thought.
ii - not at that time, we were going to try in a month or two.
iii - yes, first month trying
iv - yes, hardest one to achieve

2) were you married at the time?

Yes, married for all four

3) what were you reactions?

i - Excited, disbelieving. Fear didnt' set in until the prenatal hospital tour.
ii - less emotional over all
iii - kinda btdt, often forgot I was pg
iv - fearful, stressed, frustrated, almost never a good feeling

4) how old were you?

i - 25
ii - 27
iii - 29
iv - 30

5) how did you find out you were pregnant?

i - Pregnancy Test on Christmas morning
ii - charting, my temps stayed up... a test confirmed it
iii - second pgcy test, first was negative
iv - email from our agency saying we were officially logged in.

6) who did you first tell?

i - Steve
ii - Rookie, then Steve
iii - Steve
iv - can't remember?

7) did you want to find out the sex?

i - Desparately. Went to an extra u/s in Truro and paid $40 to see his bits.
ii - Desparately. Ended up in the early labour unit after a fall and had an extra u/s.
iii - Desparately. Drove to Portland with a 2 yr old and a 15 mos old to find out.
iv - Mostly knew she was a girl, would have accepted a boy.

9) did you have morning sickness?

i - Yes, for all but about 6 weeks in the middle.
ii - Yes, but not as bad as the first.
iii - Yes, similar to ii.
iv - Yes, a whole different kinda sick.

10) what did you crave?

i - Orange Juice and cucumber sandwiches

i - Nope, I wanted a boy!
ii - I cared least on this one, wanted a boy for Jack, a girl for me, but knew we'd have more so it didn't matter much.
iii - Desparately wanted a girl.
iv - Nope, wanted a girl!

14) how many pounds did you gain through the pregnacy?

i - Can't remember... about 20?
ii - Can't remember - less than the first
iii - Cant' remember - more than the first
iv - went up and down

15) did you have a baby shower?

i - No
ii - No
iii - Yes!

16) was it a suprise?

iii - One was a complete surprize, was supposed to be a Tupper.ware party. One was by the families at church.
iv - Nope, planned by a good friend.

17) did you have any complications during your pregnacy?

i - Nope, other than being sick, it was easy
ii - Not really, but I had bad sciatia and back pain that had me off work early.
iii - Nope, easiest one.
iv - At every step along the way.

iii - Epi, after a fight - the anesthitist thought it would be "too quick" to be worth an epi.
