We had a CRAZY day!
I got to sleep in, thank HEAVEN. The boys had hockey and the girls had dance, both at 11 so Steve took the girls and I took the boys. I'm impressed at how quickly the boys are improving. We raced home for a quick lunch and a Munster switch - I took the girls to a party hosted by a preschool friend and Steve took the boys to their first basketball game. I left the party early and caught most of the party. It was so exciting to watch a real game! Elliot is too young, he practices with the team but isnt' allowed to play. Jack had a lot of fun and played well when the ball came his way - he kinda hung back when it wasnt' near him.
From the game we headed to A&A's for a pizza dinner, as has been our Hallowe'en tradition for a few years. It was YUUMMMY. Then we dressed up and headed out. We met up with our past t'or't'er teams and hit a few houses before we were outrun. We went door to door for almost two hours before the kids declared mutiny and called it quits. We had a few drive-by visits on our way home and we were all wiped by the time we got here... pjs, teeth brushing, stories and now everyone's tucked in and asleep, including Steve.
The most exciting part of the last 24 hours is I got my first "I love you" from AnnaWen :D I said "Wo ai ni" and she said "Wo ai ni, I love you!". Big ol' grin on this Momma's face, and that girl got extra kisses and snuggles.
